Collabin ("Collabin.ai," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy explains our privacy practices. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will request it separately.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, Brand and Creator account holders, their authorised representatives, and people who communicate with us.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • • Account Information: Your name, email address, phone number, account type, and authentication and security information. You sign in using Google or an email sign-in link.
  • • Profile Information: Your public creator handle or brand name, profile photos, bio or description, social and website links, location, niche or industry, the topics and creator category you choose, and portfolio or example work.
  • • Campaign & Collaboration Data: Campaign briefs, applications, offers, agreed terms, deliverables, reviews, saved items, and files shared through the Services.
  • • Safety Information: Reports, blocking preferences, and information needed to investigate abuse or enforce our policies.
  • • Communications: Messages between users, support enquiries, and feedback you send to us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • • Authentication and Security Data: Sign-in information and records needed to maintain accounts and investigate security issues.
  • • Technical Data: Request and operational logs, which may include IP addresses, browser or device information supplied with requests, errors, and request times.
  • • Local Storage and Similar Technologies: Information used to keep you signed in, complete sign-in, and remember preferences.
  • • Notification Tokens: If you allow notifications in the mobile app, an identifier for your device, stored with your account so we can send you notifications. It is removed when you sign out of the app on that device.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • • Google provides account information when you choose Google sign-in, such as your name, verified email address, and profile image where available.
  • • Public social-profile information and statistics associated with the links you provide, obtained from publicly available sources or service providers to support discovery and matching.

  • • Recommend Creators and campaigns using profile, campaign, and available public social information

  • • Monitor platform health, security, and fraud prevention

Communications

  • • Send email sign-in links and necessary account or security communications
  • • Send notifications about new messages, offers, and updates to your collaborations and campaigns, if you allow them. You can turn them off, or choose which kinds you get, in the app or in your device settings
  • • Communicate important changes to the Services
  • • Respond to your enquiries and support requests

Legal & Safety

  • • Enforce our Terms of Service and policies
  • • Comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • • Respond to legal requests or court orders
  • • Protect the rights, property, and safety of our users

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

Between Users

Creator and Brand profiles, published campaigns, and associated public content may be visible to anyone, including visitors who are not signed in. Messages, applications, offers, and collaboration details are shared with the relevant participants and may be accessed for support or safety purposes. Avoid placing private contact details or confidential information in public fields.

Service Providers

We use service providers for hosting, authentication, email and notification delivery, and obtaining public social-profile statistics. We share information as needed for those services and subject to applicable data-protection obligations. Information may be processed outside your country.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or regulatory authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Collabin.ai, its users, or the public.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any such change.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser or device storage and similar technologies for sign-in, security, and preferences.

Essential Storage

Supports authentication, security, and basic platform functionality. Blocking or clearing this storage may prevent sign-in or sign you out.

Sign-in Preferences

We may temporarily remember the email address you entered to help you complete email-link sign-in on the same device.

Display Preferences

Local preferences, such as your chosen theme, help personalise your experience.

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser or device settings. Clearing them does not by itself delete your CollabIn account.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • • You can request account deletion in account settings or contact us. Deletion removes your active account and profile and associated content as described by the service.
  • • Some shared history, including messages and certain reviews, may remain available to other participants. Safety records and an account-deletion audit record may also be retained. That audit record may include account, contact, and social-link information.
  • • Retained information is kept for legal, safety, and recordkeeping needs. Contact dev@collabin.ai about retained personal information.
  • • Deleting your account does not remove copies others have independently saved or content already shared outside the Services.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your Google and email accounts, do not share sign-in links, and report suspected misuse.

9. Children's Privacy

Collabin.ai is not intended for users under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at dev@collabin.ai.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the platform prior to the changes taking effect.
