UGC Creators in Pakistan and What They Cost

User-generated content is made for a brand to use in its own marketing channels. A UGC creator does not need a large following: the value is in producing authentic, usable content.

What is UGC?

UGC can include product demonstrations, testimonials, unboxings, tutorials, lifestyle clips and photos. The creator's job is to make the content feel natural while meeting the brief.

Because the content is usually posted on the brand's channels, usage rights and the length of the licence are important parts of the agreement.

What determines UGC cost?

Rates depend on the number of videos or photos, length, concept complexity, editing, hooks, revisions, raw footage and turnaround time.

Paid-ad usage, whitelisting, exclusivity and long-term licensing can add value beyond the production fee.

Build a useful UGC brief

Share the audience, objective, product facts, must-have points, visual references, formats and deadlines. Let the creator bring their own voice to the execution.

Agree on deliverables and rights before filming so both the brand and creator know what is included.

01Chapter 1

UGC creators in Pakistan: what they cost and how to hire one By the Collabin team · 12 October 2026 · 8 min read UGC videos are made by creators and posted by you. Here's what they cost in Pakistan in 2026 and how to brief one properly.

02Chapter 2

Scroll through the ads on your Instagram feed and count how many look like someone filmed them on their phone in their bedroom. A lot of them were made that way on purpose. They're called UGC, and Pakistani brands are using more of them every year. This guide explains what UGC is, how it differs from hiring an influencer, what creators charge for it, and how to get videos you'll actually use. What UGC means UGC stands for user-generated content. In marketing it means a creator makes a photo or video about your product, in the style of an ordinary customer, and hands it to you. You post it on your own page, put it on your website, or run it as an ad. The creator usually doesn't post it on their own account. You're paying for the video itself, so their follower count matters much less than whether they can hold attention on camera. That's why UGC is open to a lot more people. A creator with 2,000 followers who is good on camera, speaks naturally and knows how to light a shot can make a better ad than someone with 200,000 followers. UGC or an influencer post? They do different jobs, and plenty of brands use both.

03Chapter 3

An influencer post goes on the creator's account, so you're paying to reach their followers and borrow some of the trust they've built. It's good for awareness and for getting a new brand in front of people. A UGC video goes on your page or into your ads. The reach comes from your own followers and whatever you spend on ads. You can run the same video for months, test it against others, and cut it into different lengths. It's good for ads, product pages and anything you want to reuse. If you already run Meta or TikTok ads, UGC is often the better buy. Ads that look like real people talking tend to get more clicks than polished studio shoots, and you need a steady supply of new ones because the old ones wear out. What UGC creators in Pakistan charge Prices depend mostly on how much work goes into the video. All figures are in rupees, per video. What you're buying Typical price What you get Short video 5,000 to 15,000 15 to 30 seconds, filmed on a phone, light editing Edited ad 15,000 to 40,000 A strong opening hook, captions, cuts, sometimes a voiceover

04Chapter 4

A few things push the price up. Extra hooks (the first two or three seconds, filmed several ways so you can test which one stops people scrolling) usually cost a little more. So does asking for the raw footage. Running the video as a paid ad for a long time, or across several platforms, is often priced separately, so agree it at the start. On top of the fee, you send the product. For most UGC that's the only other cost. What to look for in a UGC creator Watch their past UGC work before anything else. Do they get to the point in the first few seconds? Do they sound like themselves? Is the sound clear and the product easy to see? Then think about who they'll be talking to. A video for a baby product works best coming from a parent. A video for a men's grooming brand needs a man in his twenties or thirties. Language matters too. Decide whether you want Urdu, English or the mix most people actually speak, and pick creators who are comfortable in it. On Collabin, each profile's Fit section shows whether a creator makes UGC, posts on their own account, or does both. Their Work section has their portfolio, past brands, rates and reviews from brands that have hired them, so you can watch their videos and see what other brands thought before you message them. What you're buying Typical price What you get Bundle of 3 to 5 videos Often less per video Several takes on the same product to test as ads

05Chapter 5

How a UGC order works Start with a short brief. One page is plenty. Say what the product is and who it's for, the one thing you want viewers to remember, the length and format (vertical 9:16 for Reels and TikTok), and any words you need said or avoided. Leave the rest to the creator. Over- scripted UGC looks like an ad, and that defeats the point. Send the product next. For anything cheap and easy to ship, send it. Some brands ask the creator to buy it and refund them, which also lets the creator film the unboxing as a real customer would. When the draft comes back, one round of changes is normal. Use it for things that are actually wrong, like a mispronounced product name or a missing price, rather than personal taste. Then put it to work. Post it on your page, run it as an ad, add it to your product page and share it on WhatsApp. If you're running ads, try a few videos at once and put more money behind whichever does best. Getting more out of your budget Order in batches. Three to five videos from two or three creators gives you enough to test, and per-video prices are usually lower when you order several. Ask for several hooks on the same video. The opening seconds decide most of an ad's results, and filming three openings costs the creator very little extra time.

06Chapter 6

Rebook the creators whose videos perform. A creator who already knows your product makes the next video faster and usually better. Find UGC creators on Collabin FAQ What does a UGC creator do? They make photos or videos about your product that look like they came from a real customer. You post them on your own channels or run them as ads. How much does UGC cost in Pakistan? Usually 5,000 to 15,000 rupees for a short phone-shot video, and 15,000 to 40,000 for an edited ad with captions and a strong hook. Ordering several videos at once often brings the price down. Do UGC creators need a lot of followers? No. Because the video goes on your page, their follower count matters much less than their skill on camera. Can I run UGC videos as paid ads? Yes, as long as you agree it with the creator first. Say which platforms and for how long, since some creators charge more for long-term ad use.
