How to Hire an Influencer in Pakistan
Hiring an influencer should be a repeatable process rather than a lucky direct message. The best campaigns start with a clear goal and match the creator to the audience you want to reach.
Pick one campaign goal
Decide whether the campaign is about awareness, sales, website visits, app installs or useful content for your own channels. One primary goal makes creator selection and measurement clearer.
Set a simple success measure before outreach, such as reach, saves, clicks or conversions.
Find the right creator
Shortlist creators whose audience, niche, location and tone fit the brand. Review recent content instead of relying only on the media kit.
Check engagement quality, audience relevance, consistency and whether the creator has made the type of content your campaign needs.
Send a clear brief
Include the product, objective, deliverables, timeline, talking points, budget and approval process. Give the creator enough context without writing the post for them.
Confirm usage rights, exclusivity, disclosure and payment terms in writing before the work begins.

How to hire an influencer in Pakistan: a step- by-step guide By the Collabin team · 12 October 2026 · 9 min read Six steps for hiring your first creator in Pakistan, from picking a goal to knowing who to book again.
Most brands we talk to hired their first influencer the same way. Someone on the team followed a creator they liked, sent a DM, agreed a price on WhatsApp and transferred the money. Two weeks later a Reel went up. Maybe it did well. Usually nobody could say whether it sold anything. There's nothing wrong with that, but it leaves a lot to luck. The brands that get steady results from creators follow a routine, and the routine is simple. This guide walks through it one step at a time, using the same process brands follow on Collabin every day.
Step 1: Pick one goal Before you look at a single profile, decide what the campaign is for and write it down in one line. The goal changes who you hire. If you want online sales, you need creators whose followers already buy things like yours, and you'll track it with discount codes. If you run a café in DHA Lahore and want people through the door, a creator with 8,000 followers who all live in Lahore will do more for you than one with 200,000 spread across the country. If you mostly need photos and videos for your own Instagram and ads, look at UGC creators. They make the content and hand it to you, and you post it. A product launch is the one case where reach matters most, so that's when bigger names start to make sense. Trying to get all of these from one campaign is how budgets disappear. Step 2: Set a budget For a first campaign, 50,000 to 200,000 rupees is enough to learn what works. Here's roughly what that buys, based on our 2026 rate card: Keep 10 to 20 percent of it back. If one creator's video takes off, you'll want money left to book them again or boost the post. Product can cover part of the bill. A lot of nano and micro creators will take your product as part or all of their fee, especially if it's something they'd buy anyway. Step 3: Shortlist by niche and city first Most people start with follower count. We'd start with fit. Ask two questions about each creator. Do they post about the kind of thing you sell? Do their followers live where your customers are? A skincare brand needs creators whose audience already buys skincare. A biryani place in Karachi needs Karachi food lovers. Follower count comes after that, and mostly as a way to match your budget. Budget What it usually gets you Rs50,000 Five nano creators with one Reel each, or two micro creators Rs100,000 Four micro creators, or ten nano creators Rs200,000 Six to eight micro creators with Stories added, or one macro creator at the lower end
On Collabin this is one search. Filter by niche, city and platform, then narrow it down with followers, engagement and average likes. Each creator card shows the headline numbers, so you can build a shortlist of 15 or 20 in a few minutes and open the profiles that look right. If you'd rather have creators come to you, post a campaign. Describe the product, what you want made, your budget and the deadline, and set a minimum follower count if you want one. Creators who fit apply with their own terms, and you pick from people who already want to work with you. Step 4: Check the numbers Follower counts are easy to fake. These numbers are much harder to fake, so look at them before you talk price. Engagement rate is the share of followers who react to a normal post. To work it out yourself, add up the likes and comments on the last 10 posts, divide by 10, divide by the follower count and multiply by 100. Under 1% is a warning sign. Collabin works this out for every creator from their public posts, and creators can't edit it. Read the comments as well. The same twenty accounts writing "nice pic" under every post is a bad sign. Real followers ask where the kurta is from and tag their friends. Step 5: Agree everything in writing Most problems in influencer campaigns come from things nobody said out loud. The creator thought one Story was enough and the brand expected three. The brand wanted to run the video as an ad and the creator never agreed to that. Settle it all before anyone films anything. Check What good looks like Where it is on Collabin Engagement rate Above 3% Audience section, and on the search card Average likes Steady across ordinary posts Audience section Views on recent videos Close to the follower count, or higher Reach section City and niche Matches your customers Fit section Past brand work Sounds like the creator talking Work section, with reviews from brands
Be exact about deliverables. "One Reel and two Stories on Instagram" is clear, while "some content" will start an argument. Put two dates on it: when you'll see a draft and when it goes live, with room for one round of changes in between. Payment is the next thing to pin down. With a creator you haven't worked with before, half upfront and half once the post is live is a common split. Usage rights catch out more first-time brands than anything else. If you want to repost the video on your page or run it as a paid ad, say so now, agree for how long, and expect to pay extra for it. On Collabin all of this happens in one chat. You accept a creator's terms, counter them or decline, and what you agreed stays in the conversation if anyone needs to check later. When the work comes in you approve it or ask for changes, then pay the creator directly. Step 6: Measure, then book the good ones again Give each creator their own discount code or link, so when orders come in you'll know who sold. For a shop or restaurant, ask customers at the counter how they heard about you, or give each creator a different offer to mention. A week after each post goes live, look at views, saves, link clicks, code uses and orders. Then rank your creators by what you paid per order. The one with the most views often isn't the one who sold the most.
Book your best two or three again. People usually need to see a product more than once before they buy, and a creator's second post about you often does better than the first. After every job on Collabin, you and the creator review each other, so the next brand that opens that profile knows how it went. Mistakes we see first-time brands make The most common one is paying for followers and ignoring engagement. Close behind it is sending a two-page script and asking the creator to read it word for word. Their followers can tell, and the post falls flat. Putting the whole budget on one big name is another. If that one post misses, you've learned nothing and the money's gone. Then there's timing. Brands ask for a quick turnaround the week before Eid, when every good creator is already booked and rates are at their highest. Plan seasonal campaigns at least a month ahead. Where Collabin comes in You can do everything in this guide with DMs, spreadsheets and screenshots. It just takes a long time, and the numbers in a creator's screenshots are the ones they chose to send you. Collabin puts the whole process in one place. You search creators by niche, city, platform, followers, engagement and average likes, with numbers read from their real posts. You compare portfolios, past brands, rates and reviews before you message anyone. You can post a campaign and let creators apply, agree terms in chat, approve the work and pay the creator directly. Brands pay us nothing. There's no subscription and no commission, so the full fee goes to the creator. Find creators on Collabin FAQ How do I find influencers in Pakistan? Search by niche and city first, then check engagement and views. On Collabin you can filter by all of these, or post a campaign and let creators apply to you.
How much does it cost to hire an influencer in Pakistan? Nano creators (1,000 to 10,000 followers) usually charge 3,000 to 15,000 rupees for a post. Micro creators (10,000 to 100,000 followers) charge 15,000 to 120,000. Our rate card breaks it down by format. Do I need a contract? For small jobs, a clear written agreement in chat that covers deliverables, dates, approval, payment and usage rights is usually enough. For bigger deals or long partnerships, get a signed contract. Should I pay the creator upfront? With a new creator, half upfront and half when the post goes live is fair to both sides. With creators who have good reviews from other brands, plenty of brands pay in full once they approve the work. How do I know if the campaign worked? Give every creator a separate discount code or link, then compare the orders each one brought in against what you paid them. Written by the Collabin team.
