How Much to Charge for a Sponsored Post
A sponsored-post rate should reflect the value and work involved, not just a follower count. Creators can price more confidently when they separate production, access to their audience and usage rights.
Start with your deliverables
Define whether the offer includes a static post, reel, story, live session or a package. Include the time needed for planning, filming, editing, captions and revisions.
A clear deliverables list makes your quote easier for a brand to approve and protects you from unlimited extra work.
Account for rights and exclusivity
If a brand wants to reuse your content in ads or on its website, that usage has value and should be specified separately from the posting fee.
Exclusivity can prevent you from working with competing brands for a period, so price it according to the opportunity you are giving up.
Negotiate professionally
Send a concise media kit or rate card with your audience, recent results, examples and starting prices. Ask about the objective and scope before finalising a quote.
Put payment timing, revisions, disclosure and cancellation terms in writing.

How much should you charge for a sponsored post in Pakistan? By the Collabin team · 12 October 2026 · 9 min read Starting rates for Pakistani creators by follower count, what to add on top, and how to put together a quote a brand will say yes to.
A brand messages you asking for your rate, and you freeze. Ask too much and they might disappear. Ask too little and you've set a price you'll be stuck with for months. Most creators in Pakistan guess. Some copy whatever a friend charges, and others take whatever the brand offers. This guide gives you a proper starting point, based on what brands in Pakistan are paying in 2026, and shows you how to adjust it for your own numbers. Starting rates by follower count These are typical rates for one Instagram feed post, in rupees.
TikTok videos usually sit a little below a Reel at the same size. UGC, where you make a video for the brand to post on its own page, usually goes for 5,000 to 40,000 rupees no matter how many followers you have. The ranges are wide on purpose. Where you sit inside yours depends on a few things. Where you sit in the range Engagement is the biggest one. If your engagement rate is above 5%, price towards the top of your range. Brands are paying for people who pay attention, and you have more of them than most accounts your size. Under 2%, start lower and work on your content before you push your price. Niche comes next. Tech, finance, beauty and fitness creators can usually charge more, because their followers are buyers that brands compete for. Food and general lifestyle creators often charge less, because there are many of them and plenty of brands pay in product. Followers Instagram post Reel Story 1,000 to 10,000 3,000 to 15,000 5,000 to 25,000 1,500 to 6,000 10,000 to 50,000 15,000 to 75,000 25,000 to 110,000 6,000 to 20,000 50,000 to 100,000 75,000 to 120,000 110,000 to 180,000 20,000 to 35,000 100,000 and up 120,000 and up 180,000 and up 40,000 and up
City matters for local brands. If most of your followers are in Lahore and the brand only sells in Lahore, your audience is worth more to them than raw follower count suggests. Your track record matters as well. Past brand work, good results and good reviews let you charge more, and brands are happy to pay it because the risk is lower. Building your quote Your base rate covers one piece of content posted on your account. Anything beyond that gets added on. These percentages are a place to start your negotiation, and every creator sets their own. What matters is that you price them separately, so the brand can see exactly what they're paying for. Add-on What it means A common starting point Usage rights The brand runs your video as an ad or reposts it on its page 20% to 50% more, depending on how long Exclusivity You don't work with the brand's competitors for a set time 20% to 50% more, depending on how long Rush job The post has to go live within a week 20% to 30% more Bundle A Reel and Stories booked together 10% to 20% off the total
A worked example Say you're a beauty creator in Karachi with 25,000 followers and an engagement rate of 4%. A skincare brand wants one Reel and two Stories, and they'd like to run the Reel as an ad for three months. Your base Reel rate is 40,000 rupees, comfortably inside the 10,000 to 50,000 range because your engagement is good and beauty pays well. Your Stories are 8,000 each, so the content comes to 56,000. Booked together, you take 10% off, which brings it to about 50,000. Three months of ad use on the Reel adds 30% of the Reel price, which is 12,000. Your quote is 62,000 rupees, and you can show the brand how you got there. How to send your rate A single number with nothing around it invites haggling. A short package looks professional and is easier to say yes to. Tell them what's included ("one Reel and two Stories, one round of changes, live within 14 days of receiving the product"), give the price, then list add-ons separately. If they push back on price, cut deliverables before you cut your rate. Dropping a Story keeps your Reel price intact for the next brand. Ask for half upfront when you're working with a brand for the first time. That's normal, and serious brands won't argue. When to take a product-only deal When you're starting out, a free product can be worth it if it's something you'd actually buy and the brand has a good name. It gets you content for your portfolio and a brand to mention. Once you've done a few, start asking for cash. Brands that pay only in product tend to keep it that way unless you ask. When to raise your rates Look at your rates every few months. Raise them when your followers or engagement have grown noticeably, when brands are booking you faster than you can take on work, or when brands keep accepting your first quote without any pushback. That last one usually means you're cheap.
Setting your rates on Collabin Collabin lets you list your rates on your profile, so brands know what you charge before they message. Your followers and engagement are read from your public posts and shown next to those rates, which makes your price easier to justify. When you apply to a campaign, you can accept the brand's terms or propose your own. The brand accepts, counters or declines in the same chat, so the whole negotiation is in one place. Brands pay you directly and Collabin takes no commission, so the rate you agree is the rate you get. See how Collabin works for creators FAQ How much should I charge with 1,000 followers?
